3D Maze

A real-time mobile-controlled 3D game demonstrating ScreenSoft’s custom interactive application capabilities.

What it is and why to use it

The player navigates a ball through a 3D maze and must find the exit within a configured time limit. It also acts as a technology demo.

When to use it

The same concept can be customized into branded games, for example a Pac-Man-style character collecting a brand’s products.

Visitor experience

The big screen shows a QR code. The player scans it, gets a Play button on the phone, while the display waits at Ready?. Pressing Play starts a 3–2–1 countdown. The phone then becomes a joystick with direction and speed controls, reacting on the big screen essentially instantly.

What the administrator configures and sees

The administrator configures the available game settings, especially the time limit, and publishes it.

Create and configure

  1. Create/select 3D Maze.
  2. Set the time limit and available game parameters.
  3. Publish to the target device.
  4. Players start via QR and control the game from their phones.

Publishing and operation

The display does not need a touch layer because the phone is the controller.

Scheduled publication

This application can be prepared in advance with a publication period defining when it should become available on the screen and when its publication should end. Outside the configured period it is not shown on the target device.

The application can therefore be created and configured ahead of time, with visitor availability starting and ending automatically according to the configured schedule, similarly to campaigns.
