Campaign report

See how a campaign performed after publication and understand the figures shown in its report.

What the campaign report shows

The campaign report combines the campaign settings with actually recorded plays. You can open it while the campaign is running or after it has finished, for example when you need to provide a client with an interim performance report.

Where to open the report

On desktop: open the campaign detail. In the top-right corner, select Campaign report, identified by the chart icon; it appears before the delete and edit icons.

On mobile: open the campaign detail, tap the three vertical dots (⋮) in the top-right corner, then choose Campaign report.

How to read the campaign summary

The top of the report first shows the campaign period and status. The summary below recalls its key parameters and planned values.

Visual durationIn IMPRESSION mode, this is the duration used to plan each play: for video, its duration or the value adjusted in the campaign; for an image, the configured display time. In SLOT mode, it is the slot duration, or the combined duration of slots used by this campaign.
Repeats per hour / slotsFor an IMPRESSION campaign, this is the configured number of repeats per hour. In SLOT mode, the number of slots reserved for this campaign is shown instead.
Media space usedIn IMPRESSION mode, this expresses how much of one hour is occupied by the configured repeat count and visual duration.
Devices usedThe number of distinct devices included in the history of this campaign.
Visuals usedThe number of distinct visuals recorded for this campaign, including visuals used in earlier versions of it.
Expected impressionsThe number of impressions the campaign should reach under its configured conditions. ScreenSoft calculates it as 95% of the maximum impression count.
Maximum impressionsThe highest planned number of impressions based on the campaign settings. It is derived from its date range, operating hours, devices used, and the configured playback frequency or reserved slots.

Actually recorded impressions

The Impressions section shows actually recorded plays. The percentage expresses their ratio to expected impressions: 100% means the expected count was reached; a higher value means more plays were recorded than expected.

All represents all recorded plays. Commercial represents their commercial part. If the campaign is allowed to play in non-commercial media space as well, the report may separately show Non-commercial plays. For a purely commercial campaign with non-commercial playback disabled, All and Commercial are identical.

Reading delivery and interactive content

The maximum number of impressions comes from the plan. Under the current methodology, expected impressions are 95% of the maximum. Fulfilment is calculated against the expected value: with a maximum of 1,000 and 950 recorded plays, the report shows 100% of expected delivery.

A recorded play is not automatically proof of continuous physical visibility, and the number of game sessions is not the number of advertising impressions. For interactive campaigns, compare the device schedule, report and an on-device test.

Impressions over time

Select All impressions to open the detailed chart. It shows recorded plays over time; empty hourly intervals are displayed as zero.

In the chart detail, select the calendar icon in the top-right corner and choose one day or a range within the available period. This changes the time range of the chart. If you then download the report, the downloaded version captures the chart in the selected range. The totals in the other report sections remain campaign-wide totals; in the current implementation, the calendar selection filters the chart rather than recalculating every report metric.

Practical tip — Use the date range when you want to show a client the playback pattern for a particular day or weekend. For exact totals within that selected interval, use the values shown by the chart; the other summary sections do not change with the date selection.

Visuals

The report tracks playback at the level of individual visuals. For each visual, it shows its type, resolution, duration and number of actually recorded plays. The plays recorded for the individual visuals add up to the overall recorded impression count.

If a visual is changed during a campaign and the new version uses a different visual, the earlier history is not lost. The report works with the campaign history and distinguishes individual visuals, so it can show both the previous and the new visual with their own play counts.

Devices

In Devices, devices are grouped by location. Each device shows the number of plays recorded on that device. This lets you verify not only the overall campaign result, but also how it was distributed across individual screens or players.

Location

The Location section lists the locations used by the campaign together with their configured operating days and times. This provides context for when devices at each location are configured to operate.

Download the report

The down-arrow button in the bottom-right corner downloads the current report view as an image suitable for sharing with a client. On mobile, the download button appears below the report content. If you changed the chart period before downloading, the downloaded report also captures that selected chart view.
