Editing images and videos

Introduction and orientation

Adjust resolution, image fitting and video duration directly in the administration interface.

Steps and settings

Edit an image directly in the system

Use the pencil icon to open the Visual editor. You can change the visual name and target resolution (width and height), then choose how the image should fit the display resolution.

  • Fill – stretches the visual to fill the display resolution without cropping.
  • Fit – preserves the aspect ratio; empty or black bars may remain when the formats differ.
  • Crop – fills the target format by cropping from the center; part of the image may fall outside the final frame.
You do not need a designer for every format change. If you only need to adapt an existing image to another resolution or aspect ratio, you can do it directly in the administration interface.

Edit a video

Video offers the same name, resolution and fitting options as an image. In addition, you can set the Duration in seconds.

  • If the selected duration is shorter than the original video, playback stops at the selected time and the remainder is not used.
  • If the selected duration is longer, the final frame remains visible until the configured duration ends.
