Dynamic Visuals

Automatically change campaign visuals according to time, weather and other verified conditions.

What Dynamic Visuals do

A Dynamic Visual replaces the campaign’s primary visual when its group of conditions qualifies. A campaign can contain one or more groups, and all conditions inside a group must be met.

Available conditions

Verified conditions include time of day, day of week, temperature, humidity, wind speed and weather state.

Which group wins?

  1. ScreenSoft finds groups where all conditions are met.
  2. If more than one group qualifies, the group with the largest number of conditions wins.
  3. If qualifying groups contain the same number of conditions, the order in the editor decides.
Example
Group A: Sunday 11:00–13:00. Group B: Sunday 11:00–13:00 + sunny weather. When it is sunny, B is used. In the same time range when it is not sunny, A is used. Outside that range, the primary visual is used.

Visual rotation options

When dynamic-visual rotation is disabled, only the first qualifying visual according to editor order is played. When enabled, all qualifying dynamic visuals alternate between loops, one visual per loop. The primary visual can either be replaced whenever a dynamic visual qualifies, or kept in the rotation depending on the Primary Visual option.
