Company settings

Introduction and orientation

Shared rules and the content scheduling model.

Steps and settings

Your software provider configures the Company after discussing your needs with you. To change an option later, follow the points below or contact your provider.

These settings affect content scheduling, the visuals available for selection and the campaign creation wizard.

Configure shared Company rules

  1. Choose a planning model: SLOT or IMPRESSION.

Choose the advertising playback mode first; the system will then make the dependent settings available.

You cannot change the mode after creating the first campaign.

You can change your choice before creating the first campaign. After that, the selected mode is locked. SLOT mode also locks the number of slots and the slot duration.

SLOT allocates fixed space in the advertising loop; IMPRESSION schedules a requested number of impressions. Your software provider helps you choose the model when your Company is created. The following guides explain the comparison and both planning models in detail:

  2. Choose whether to enable commercial campaigns. Enable commercial campaigns — Determines whether you will also use the system to sell advertising space. When commercial campaigns are disabled, the system simplifies the campaign creation wizard and hides options that are needed only for selling commercial advertising. When enabled, campaigns follow the selected playback mode – for example, you can define space in the loop (SLOT) or a required number of impressions (IMPRESSION).

For details, see Create a campaign.

  3. Set automatic creation of non-commercial campaigns. Automatically create a non-commercial campaign for each commercial campaign — Determines whether the Non-commercial option is enabled by default when creating a new commercial campaign. The system will then preconfigure each new campaign based on your usual workflow. You can change this option for an individual campaign.

For details, see Create a campaign.

  4. Set the visual aspect-ratio check. Visual aspect ratio — By default, the system offers only visuals that match the required or allowed alternative aspect ratio. Unsuitable content is not offered during selection. You can disable this restriction with Ignore visual aspect ratio.

For details, see Uploading media and supported formats.

  5. Set the visual duration check. Visual duration — The system can also check visual duration against the requirements of the configured playback. Unsuitable visuals are then not offered. You can disable this check with Ignore visual duration.

For details, see Uploading media and supported formats.

  6. Choose the company default visual. Company default visual — Fallback image used when no suitable content is available.

For details, see Company Default Visual.
