ScreenSoft Docs / Campaign Separation

Campaign Separation

What campaign separation means, how it works and how to prevent selected campaigns from playing immediately next to each other.

What it does

Campaign Separation controls which campaigns may be immediate neighbours of the current campaign in the playback loop. A typical use is separating competing brands or messages that must not play directly after one another.

How it works

You select campaigns that are allowed to play directly before or after the current campaign. A campaign that is not selected cannot be its immediate neighbour; ScreenSoft inserts at least one allowed campaign between them.

How to configure it

  1. While creating or editing a campaign, open Campaign Separation.
  2. Select campaigns that may play directly before or after the campaign you are editing.
  3. Campaigns left unselected will not play immediately next to it.
  4. Continue through the wizard and verify the setup in Summary before saving.
Example
To prevent brand A from playing immediately after competitor B, leave B outside A's allowed neighbours. ScreenSoft places at least one other allowed campaign between them.
