What it is and why to use it

Document makes a notice, presentation, guide or other file available on the information screen.

When to use it

Useful for public notices, calls, presentations, manuals and hotel information.

Visitor experience

Documents can be browsed by scrolling or in a book-like mode with animated page turns.

What the administrator configures and sees

The administrator uploads a supported document, for example PDF, Word or PowerPoint, and chooses how visitors browse it.

If the user uploads another supported document format such as Word or PowerPoint, ScreenSoft automatically converts it to PDF. The prepared PDF version is then used on the device, so the user does not need to convert the file manually before upload.

Create and configure

1. Create Document.
2. Upload/select the file.
3. Choose scrolling or page-turning mode.
4. Check readability on the target display.
5. Save and publish.

Publishing and operation

Use a touch-enabled device when visitors need to browse the document interactively.

Scheduled publication

This application can be prepared in advance with a publication period defining when it should become available on the screen and when its publication should end. Outside the configured period it is not shown on the target device.

The application can therefore be created and configured ahead of time, with visitor availability starting and ending automatically according to the configured schedule, similarly to campaigns.
