Event countdown
Introduction and orientation
Show the time remaining until an event, opening date or other deadline over the campaign visual.
What the countdown does
It shows the days, hours, minutes and seconds remaining until a selected time. It supplements the campaign currently playing; it is not a standalone application or a mobile competition.
Steps and settings
Set up the campaign
A new countdown is disabled by default. The form initially sets the date one month ahead and the time to 00:00; adjust them to match the actual event before saving.
- Open the countdown and set the deadline. In the campaign editor, open Event countdown, enable it and set the target date and time.
- Choose the card colours. In the card appearance settings, choose the background and text colours.
- Check the preview and save. After checking the display, save the change. The campaign must be published to the required device.

Time zone and end of countdown
The countdown appears near the bottom of the screen and updates approximately once a second. The target time is interpreted in the player’s system time zone, so check its date, time and time zone. Once the target is reached, the countdown disappears; this does not itself end the campaign’s publication period.
