Documentation / Companies and Server Edition

Companies and Server Edition

Introduction and orientation

How a standard customer account differs from a server/white-label installation and how multiple Companies are managed.

Overview and explanation

Standard customer

A standard customer has one Company. Within it, they manage their Locations, Devices, campaigns, applications, media and users, and use the Company dashboard.

Server Edition / white-label partner

A Server Edition partner operates their own platform server and can manage and onboard multiple customers on it. Each customer is a separate Company. The partner can therefore use the Global dashboard and work across Companies according to their permissions.

Hierarchy

Server → Companies → Locations → Devices. This structure separates individual customers while allowing the server administrator to oversee them centrally.

Permissions

The server-administrator role itself defines functional permissions, but to work with all customers the user must also be granted access outside their own Company. See Roles and permissions.
